Completion of a Massachusetts-approved Nurse Aide Training Program
Pass the Massachusetts Nurse Aide Competency Exam
Active listing on the Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry

Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program (minimum 75 hours)
Demonstrated competency in basic personal care skills
Supervision by a Registered Nurse (RN) or qualified healthcare professional

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Pass the NCLEX-RN licensing exam
Active Registered Nurse license through the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
